The Best Thing About Not Being Home is Missing You

There are people back home that your character hates. Or maybe they love them, but they're terrible people/influences. Here's your chance to talk or play out that special someone turning up in the Meadous. Are they so far out of their element that they're now defanged tigers? Do they lead right in with their wicked ways? What is your character's CR even going to think when they meet this person?
Post with your own character or the person they most/least want to see again who's a bad thing for them. Feel free to play out encounters in the snow between this character and your regular character's CR, or talk it out with if you're not sure you've got the voice down.
Fun for all ages! And by fun, we mean misery!
Re: sure why not
"Walks stubs all like at to be cold all the fuck already," He half-jokes, but it's marred by the undercurrent of relief. He turns to her, grinning. "HIS VOODOO HAS MADE ALL LIKE TO RETURNING, WICKED SISTER. All come hivebound it up and has, like all to be the most faithful of servants. THE MOST MOTHERFUCKING LOYAL OF BEASTS. At fucking last."
She should know what this means of course. The arena is theirs to be however they choose. And she too, should have her power back as well.
He tilts his head at her, expectant, and curious too where all she got the coat.

"You're new, right?" He seems like he knows her, maybe? The way he grins at her, she's almost sure that he does, but she doesn't have any idea who he is. It's...probably better to break that to him now than later.
"I don't think we've met... I'm Terezi." She doesn't offer a hand to shake, both of them being shoved into her pockets. Instead, she offers a bit of an apologetic grimace for what she's about to ask:
"Who are you?"

She doesn't know who he is. But why? Did the Capitol do this? Did they have that power, to tamper memory? ...Had he had been gone, and left her here so long she could no longer recall?
"THE INTI-" He stops. "Kurloz."
A dread settles.
"ARE WE NOT STILL UP AND MOTHERFUCKING ARENA-BOUND?" If she had been made to forget, surely it would not be her to ask if he is new. But her forgetting of her own hibitions helped nothing.

He seems to know her, though. She can only assume that there was a Terezi back there, too. Someone he was close to, from the sound of it.
"Sorry. It's probably obvious now, but I'm not the Terezi you knew there, either." It's hard to tell that to someone. Like taking their hope--a figurine of glass--and smashing it with a hammer. But it's better done now than later. It's better not to lie about these things.

Dammit. Dammit. He should've known. He should've up and figured. He drops his club to the snow, hands rising up to shield his face from watching eyes. As if all of capitol was still watching him. Push it back. Swallow it down. Now is not the time. Later...
"Is there any way back, sister?" He asks, lifting his head up. Any way back to a death game what a joke. But he couldn't deny wanting it.

"There's a few of us who are trying to figure out how to get out--or pull specific people in. It's not a bad place here. It's just... lacking. If you know what I mean." She's pretty sure that he does. Anyone who asks first and foremost if they can go back? Has to know what it's like to leave someone behind.

He can feel the shadows of her fears. They don't feel the same. Even where they do. he notices the lack of one fear, a fear that he's sure made her say a very specific thing.
"I SWORE WORD I ALL DID. I made motherfucking promise up on the core of me to keep it. SAID AT I WOULD STAY. Said I wouldn't make all to leave," He says, meeting her blind eyes. "CONSIDER IT PROMISE TO MAKE ALL TO HELP. I will do what all ever you need to be done."
no subject
"And if you need anything at all... Let me know, okay?" She gives him an encouraging smile, then after a moment: "Or if you want to talk about anything. We've all... left people behind somewhere. If you need to get it off your chest, it's better to do that than bottle it up, you know?" She certainly would know...

I'm Grand motherfucking Highblood before throne claiming, pale for a former helmstroll, black for a human what has plans all for elsewhere, all wanting some other old ass motherfucking human what to play lusus, and...
And I need you.
Yeah. Not going to happen.
"HE'LL MAKE TO KEEP IT IN MOTHERFUCKING MIND," He says. Not completely a lie. "He'd make like all to return offer, were it desired," He adds, even knowing she won't come to him. Not his Terezi. But still close enough.
"WHAT ALL DO YOU MAKE TO DO HERE, IN TIMES ABOUT?" He asks. He wonders if there might be rebellion of some sort here to since he so far has been unable to escape it.
