The Best Thing About Not Being Home is Missing You

There are people back home that your character hates. Or maybe they love them, but they're terrible people/influences. Here's your chance to talk or play out that special someone turning up in the Meadous. Are they so far out of their element that they're now defanged tigers? Do they lead right in with their wicked ways? What is your character's CR even going to think when they meet this person?

Post with your own character or the person they most/least want to see again who's a bad thing for them. Feel free to play out encounters in the snow between this character and your regular character's CR, or talk it out with if you're not sure you've got the voice down.

Fun for all ages! And by fun, we mean misery!

Sora has a million rp accounts, the life story

This place was so small, quiet, deafeningly still. She hated it immediately as soon as she awoke in a casket, finding herself in the quaint little village. After tearing apart her house to relieve some tension, Ophelia doesn't hesitate to leave the house as soon as she's made the place a bit more homey.

Ophelia scowls, ignoring the chill biting at her skin as she steps outside to survey her surroundings. It's all so precious and sweet. She almost wants to puke, almost. The black tears that make up her dress stain the white snow as she makes her way through the village. It's hard to miss the blue woman in the first place. In some part she was looking for Eddie, in another- she wanted to know what this place was.

Sasha paused when he saw the woman- he knew who she was from Eddie's memory reels.

"Hello?" He questioned, trying to be polite.

The polite greeting his enough to make the blue skinned woman pause her less than happy jaunt through the snow. Her immediate urge to be sarcastic is held in check for now as she looks over Sasha. "Hello." He's green, he could be one of hers, if not for the cat ears and clothing. It's enough to make her want to play nice. No need angering the locals yet.

"What can you tell me about this... place?"

"Of course." Sasha started. "We're a collection of people who have been brought here by a child-God for whatever purposes. The world is saccharine sweet and most of us have been taken from our homeworlds before."

"...I see." She rests a hand on her hip, blowing out a sigh. The information clears up the idiotic letter she found at least. "The one flaw with your little theory, is the fact I've always been home."

"Mhmm." She tilts her head, watching the man for a moment before she spoke again. "How long have you been here?"

"Half a year, I arrived here with my husband." He said out of Habit. "We were among-st the first group of people."

The sudden offer and approach just warrants a wary glance from the blue skinned woman. It certainly stops her purposeful stride for the moment. All she can do is frown back at Bertie, her eyes glowing as she squinted back at him. "I think I'll pass."

"Perfectly, sure." She repeated simply back with a toss of her hair. "You'd know if you didn't take such an interest in my feet."

Ophelia simply smirks at his nervous rambling, taking a step forward invading Bertie's personal space bubble. The black liquid of her dress surges forward, bubbling at the edges of Bertie's shoes. Winding the man up seemed like fun if anything. "Are you coming on to me?"

The stumbling earns a low laugh from the woman, she doesn't bother to hide it. "I see." The bottom of her dress bubbles, small tendrils attempt to follow Bertie but don't get far.

"It's just a dress. I'm sure you've seen one before. Haven't you?"
ignes_fatui: (could you repeat that)

That's another immense Darkness. Why is every new arrival recently so full of Darkness? It seems statistically improbable. At least this one doesn't have the same quality to it as the kind endemic to his homeworld and, he reminds himself, high concentrations of Darkness don't necessarily make a person inherently bad.

"Hello?" he calls, trying to decide if he should ask if she's cold and if she'd like him to get a spare coat for her, or something. That can't be comfortable, but even so he's not sure it would be tactful to bring it up.

"Yes?" She questioned back, crossing her arms over her chest. Her tears protectively curling around her feet as she comes to a stop at Ienzo's call. There was no shortage of curious people in this place, Ophelia could give it that much. At least Ienzo's silly fringe is enough to make her take him more seriously. Finally, something familiar.

"I'd ask if I could help you, but, I'm new here." Play the sympathy card, it was better to do that if she wanted information.
