This is a world where cities have built upon the bones of themselves for so long that no one remembers what 'dirt' is unless you mean 'grime'. A place where the rich and privileged touch the sky, the middle class dreams of the stars, and poor downtrodden have the power to change things if they'll only reach for it.

THE ME AND ME MEME

Through all the different worlds and jamjars the residents of the Meadous have been in, there is one thing consistent among the inhabitants: they have, during their time active in the jamjars, been changed. Maybe some have only really felt the effects of physical aging, but more than likely emotional and mental changes have come with it too. Considering that, how would they react if they got to meet themselves before those changes took place? What would others think of theses younger versions, yet to have to deal with the chaos of other worlds?

Here's where you got to find out.

Inexplicably, your muse is greeted one day by a younger version of themselves. This could be right from the beginning of their canon, or right before they were pulled into their first game. Regardless, it's a version of themselves that hasn't entered a jamjar yet, and that they have not seen for a long, long time. Who knows how that 'reunion' will go.

Post a toplevel of your character interacting with their younger self. Post around to others toplevels, either with both versions of your character or just one. Your character has gone through some big changes. Guess the character, and others, get to see how big.

The World of the Lost has introduced all kinds of godly beings young and old, each defined different ways, more worlds and more flocks. Now all the lowly mortals can have a crack at it! To play:

1. For your character, consider:
a) What is their ASPECT, the one thing that defines them? How do they fare being set in one specific way and unable to change? Are they a young godling or an elder deity.
b) What is their world like? How does it reflect their nature?
c) What is their Flock like? Were they created brand new or brought in from elsewhere? How do they appear to their flock? How does their flock feel about them?
d) How do characters (who tag them as below) influence them in their growth?
2.Tag others as either a member of the flock or the pantheon describing what life is like as a member of the flock or perhaps what chaos is caused for a fellow god.

TEST DRIVE MEME

I. Wishes Come True

It's something you've always wanted, or perhaps it's something you've been missing from home. A favorite pet, a sentimental item. Or perhaps it's an ability, something that was stripped from you when you were trapped somewhere else in the multiverse and everything was taken from you. Whatever it is, you've wished for it, and it's arrived with a colorful drawing from Zephyr on your door step, showing what their interpretation of the wish that you've made is.

You can show off your new items or ability now. Perhaps you'd like to flaunt it for anyone in the Meadous to see. It is something shiny and new. Or perhaps you'd like to keep it close, secret. But someone might notice if you're being particularly furtive.

II. Be Careful What You Wish For

Well, that... that wasn't quite to plan. You stare down at the crayon drawing from Zephyr showing you exactly what you wished for. Except you hadn't meant it literally. Or you hadn't meant it quite like that, even if your wording had been vague. Now you're stuck with something you didn't want. Or perhaps you made a big mistake and now you're a different species. Or have extra appendages you can't get rid of. Not without making the walk of shame back to the Wishing Pond to wish away the changes. Why this? Why?

Hopefully, no one will catch you as you steal forth to undo your mistake.

III. Under the Sea

The waves are high at the beach this month, and there are brightly-colored jellyfish washed up on the shore. Perhaps you're feeling sorry for the creatures, or maybe you were just unfortunate enough to get too close. Either way, you've been stung by those ungrateful little creatures. And now the air around you is swimming with sea life. You can tell they're not real, but your eyes can follow enormous whales, little sea horses, and all manner of creatures in between as they move around, over, and straight through you. The effect only lasts about an hour, and multiple stings don't seem to do anything to enhance the effect. What to do?

Perhaps take your repose under the shade of some palm trees nearby. Or there are still stretches of beach to play on. A few umbrellas and a trunk that seems to contain towels and swimsuits is nearby. How did that get there? It's as if someone knew you'd be along. Perhaps that's troubling in its own way.

IV. Bulletin Board

Each month, Zephyr clears away most of the notes from their Bulletin Board and adjusts the decorations, leaving it fresh and open for anyone who might wish to post something new. The Meadous is a fairly rural place with minimal technology. Those used to a network may find the Bulletin Board is the closest they can come to something like that again. Who wants to actually talk to the neighbors when you can post a passive aggressive note about someone making a racket at 2 AM, instead? There's also some measure of anonymity afforded. Just be sure to only post up your notes when no one else is around and can catch you at it.

V. Choose Your Own Adventure

Whether it's just waking up in the Meadous or exploring some other part of the Setting, you're striking out with your own prompts to get some action started.
